Neeraj Kamra is one of the co-founders of Mahiram.com. He was the technological mind behind the first iteration of mahiram.com. Through his advanced technical knowledge and love for south asian entertainment, he helped grow Mahiram.com to be the top south asian entertainment website in Canada. His other accomplishments include growing a successful family-owned import/export wholeselling business, being a savvy real-estate investor and was once a national-ranked competitor in Tae Kwon Do. In addition to his obvious technical skills, his focus for Sitetix is in marketing, logistics, Client Relationship Management and Procurement. |
 Since he was a child, Riaz Ladha has always had a keen interest in Business. Coming from a long line of entrepreneurs, Riaz started his first business at the age of 14 in recreational sports which he ran successfully after school. At this young age Riaz realized that business was his forte. Riaz’s passion for business grew throughout High School years and into his University days as he Graduated with Honours with a degree in Government Business and a minor in Marketing from York University in 2002, Riaz declined acceptance in pursuing his MBA in order to explore the world of business and obtain a solid foundation of practical experience. Over the next several years Riaz founded or co-founded many companies and businesses such as Smart Market Inc. in the ever changing world of financial processing (ATM, POS hardware), online businesses (Sitetix Ltd) as well as holdings in the restaurant industry. Of all his accomplishments, Riaz holds Mahiram.com near and dear to his heart. Mahiram.com was founded on a need for the growing South Asian population in North America to share their rich and vibrant culture from back home to North Americans and with each other. With this East meets West outlook Mahiram.com was born. Back in 2001 Riaz along with business partner and best friend Neeraj Kamra envisioned the fusion of Hollywood & Bollywood and the eventual ascension of Bollywood into Mainstream North American culture. Although difficult to imagine in 2001, today this fusion is reality and Mahiram.com has become one of the first online to establish a thriving community catered to this unique South Asian-North American culture.“We have tacked one of our largest hurdle in finally reaching the mainstream culture in North America.
