A renowned still photographer Vishal Saxena who has specialized in designing portfolios was invited by the department of Acting and Presentation at Asian Academy Of Film And Television, Noida. 

A special workshop was conducted for the students of Acting and every student is getting an opportunity to be clicked for his portfolio by this popular photographer. Vishal has been assisted by another professional assistants and a stylist to add beauty to the folio in a graceful manner. 

Vishal Saxena has been associated with number of film, fashion and advertising magazines and papers. He has been pioneer in preparing portfolios for Madhuri Dixit, Kartina Kaif, Kareena Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Priyanka Chopra, Salman Khan, Shahrukh Khan, Aamamir Khan, Anil Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor and many others.

The sixth meeting of new management committee of PHD Chamber of Commerce highlighted Sandeep Marwah the Chairperson of Entertainment and Media Committee of the chamber for his untiring efforts in the field of film, television and media.

“We are proud of our Chairperson of M&E Committee Sandeep Marwah who has been bestowed upon the prime award of Poland ‘Gate Of Freedom’ at Gdansk Film Festival for bringing global awareness to Indian Cinema ”said Sandip Somany President of the Chamber.

Sandeep Marwah is the first ever Indian film maker to be nominated as jury member in Poland. A special segment was designed for the 11 films of Marwah at the festival which was later followed by Master class ever taken by any Indian film maker.

All this happened when National Film Awards were given at New Delhi to the best feature film I Am where Marwah Studios is the Co-Producer of the film.

The senior Vice President Suman Jyoti Khaitan, Vice President Sharad Jaipuria, Secretary General Susmita Shekhar, Past President Salil Bhandari, Legal Advisor P.K. Sharma were present on the occasion. There was huge round of applause by all the Chairpersons of 57 committees and a large august gathering.

“One picture is equal to 1000 words, you look at the picture and it reminds all what happened at that times, they are the ever lasting memories” said Sandeep Marwah in his opening remarks while inaugurating the new state of art still photography studios at Marwah Studios Complex, Noida Film City. 

The renowned Still Photographer Vishal Saxena from Mumbai was the guest of honor who planned the inaugural shots in the studios. “I had the privileged to shoot best of the stars of Indian Film Industry especially Bollywood, but preparing portfolios of new aspirants always be a very challenging task” said Vishal Saxena. 

Presenting his job with stars like Rithwik Roshan, Madhuri Dixit, Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Prinka Chopra, Kartina Kaif, Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan, and many others motivated the film, television and media students to come forward in still photography.

“It is not only necessary but essential for parents to keep an eye on their children so that they may not adapt a wrong habit in the course of their education. Our job is to put them on the best path possible and make them ready for their carrier” said Sandeep Marwah Director of Asian Academy Of Film And Television at the opening session of Parent Teacher’s Association Meeting of AAFT at Marwah Studios, Film city Noida.

A Photo exhibition of who’s who of film makers and personalities of the World was inaugurated during the 37th Gdynia Film Festival in the most prestigious hall of Gdynia at Riwiera. The photos were the splendid collection of renowned photographer of Poland Pietkiewicz Henryk.

The exhibition suddenly attracted large audience when international record holder Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios from Bollywood India, inaugurated the evening session containing his own portrait in the Hall of Fame.

Henryk Pietiewicz displayed all the photos of well known people of the World which he has managed during his tenure as photographer. The collection at Riwiera contained the admirable and marvelous portraits of Zaorski, Huelle Paweł – , president of Gdynia – Wojciech Szczurek – Andrzej Serdiukow – Agnieszka Odorowicz director of PISF – Antoni Krauze filmmaker – Wojciech Marczewski – filmmaker – “Wajda school” director – Eugeniusz Gordziejuk – Marek Żydowicz – director of Camerimage – Małgorzata Potocka and others

Indian film Producer, educator and studios owner Sandeep Marwah and Reena Marwah were the special invitee at the 37th Gdynia Film Festival at Gdynia Poland. Sandeep Marwah was representing Indian film fraternity at the opening of the festival this time as he is already on the tour to propagate the 100 years of Indian cinema.

The festival opening was attended by the known names of Polish Cinema and other important film makers Dorota Kędzierzawska, director and screenwriter (“Nothing”, “Time to Die”, “Tomorrow Will Be Better”) Dorota Kędzierzawska,
Caroline J. Libresco – film producer, non-American cinema programmer at the Sundance Film Festival, Michał Leszczyłowski – editor, director;
Waldemar Kalinowski – production designer, location designer, works in Hollywood;

Others who were present there were Stephen Rea – Irish theatre, film and television actor; Adam Sikora – camera operator, director, screenwriter; Ewa Wiśniewska – film and theatre actress; Zygmunt Miłoszewski – writer, journalist. Marcina Wrona, film, theatre and television director and screenwriter. Apart from Marcin Wrona, the members of the Young Cinema Competition jury will be: Agnieszka Wójtowicz-Vosloo – American writer and film director of Polish descent; Magnus von Horn – graduate of the Directing Department at Łódź Film School (PWSFTViT).

Indian Ambassador to Poland Monika Kapil Mohta with Madhup Mohta, Sunil Ahuja Director of Indian Art & Culture Community Centre with Yyola Ahuja were also part of the show.

The most prestigious and celebrated ‘The Gate of Freedom Award’ of Poland was bestowed upon Indian film maker Sandeep Marwah on the closing ceremony of five days Gdansk Film Festival here at prominent and monumental auditorium in recognition towards global understanding of Indian Cinema before a over charged cinema audience.

Sandeep Marwah who is the founder of Noida Film City, has been associated with more than 4000 television programs and 125 feature films through his impressive Marwah Studios. He is the Director of Asian Academy Of Film And Television, the premier film school of India, producer of 1800 short films. 21 years in business, he has trained 9000 media professions from 90 countries of the World. He is the recipients of many National and International awards and Chairperson of many powerful media organizations.

The function took place at Mantra –An Indian Art and Culture Community Centre at Gdansk, Poland. “We have constituted this award for the first time and it has gone into the history of Mantra-to a man who himself created history in Film and Television industry.” said Sunil Ahuja Director of the Centre.

Sandeep Marwah the President of Marwah Studios and record holder of producing largest number of short films in the World. The number has crossed 1800 films. He is on the jury of 10th edition of Gdansk Docfilm Festival 2012 at Gdansk, Poland.

A special section has been carved out in the Gdansk Docfilm Festival to showcase the films produced by Sandeep Marwah. He has given a wonderful opportunity to more than 1500 new trained directors and approx. 8000 technicians and artist from 87 countries to learn the film culture while making the films under the banner Marwah Films And Video Productions.

Eleven films have been selected this time for screening at Gdansk film festival in a non competitive section. “I am much obliged to the complete team of the festival for providing me an international platform, encouraging and motivating me to do a good job” said Marwah.

In The Name Of God by Aamir, Sneha by Ratanjit Roy, K-18 by Siddharth, Dwanda by Jitendar, Check N Mate by Sunel Kumar, Sach by Faraz Heider, Moments Lost To Hell by Yogi, The Coconut by A.S.Gosain, Blue Corner by Rafiqul Islam Laskar, The Final Vardict by Lyv Pathak and Shut up Hitler by Varun Sihag are the films shown this week at Gdansk.

The 10th Edition of Gdansk DocFilm Festival started here in Gdansk, Poland with great pomp and show. The festival has received more than 250 films from all over the World.
The selected films are to be shown from 2nd to 6th May in different theatres in the city.

This is for the first time in last ten years when an Indian film maker is on the board of Jury of Gdansk Doc Film Festival” said Kazimierz Beer, the director of the festival. The management and the audience is very keen to listen to Sandeep Marwah who has come all the way from India and representing the biggest film Industry of the World” Beer added.

Sandeep Marwah has been on the Jury of National Film Awards & Apsara Awards in India, at Shoot 4 Life festival at Budapest, Hungry also at Mons Film festival, Belgium and now Gdansk Film Festival at Poland.

His presence has raised the level of our festival” said Kazimierz Beer Producer and Director of the Gdansk Docu Film Festival while welcoming guest from different countries of the World.

Diana Dziworska the public Relation officer of the festival thanked Marwah for being part of festival and for bringing two cultures close to each other.

The Chief Guest Marwah distributed more than 100 awards to the young students of the school at an annual program pertaining to all cultural activities. The awards were after the name of giants of their fields like Tansen, Picasso, Newton to motivate the children of junior classes.

Impressed by a beautifully designed cultural program consisting of music and dance performed by the kids, Sandeep Marwah announced four scholarships for the students of the school. The program was attended by a large gathering of Parents, teachers and school children. Principal Nidhi Sirohi proposed vote of thanks.

Dada Saheb Phalke Memorial Award was bestowed upon Sandeep Marwah for his untiring efforts in the field of Films. Marwah who is the founder of film city Noida, Marwah Studios the first professional film studios of North India, and AAFT the first private film school of the country.  

On the occasion of completion of 100 years of Cinema, a grand celebrations were taken place at Pune where renowned film personalities were presented with Dada Saheb Memorial Award 

Marwah Studios has churned out more than 100 feature films in last 21 years since inception, produced 1800 short films trained around 9000 film professionals from 90 countries of the World. 

Sandeep Marwah started IFTC International Film And Television Club, IFTRC International Film And Television Research Club, IPBF International Public Broadcasting Forum, ICFF International Children’s Film Forum for the promotion of film business in India.  

He has brought many laurels to India in last 21 years and heading more than 20 international organizations. He has created a family of more 10,000 media members.

The renowned International media person and President of Marwah Studios Sandeep Marwah has been nominated as the jury member for the forth coming Gdansk Documentary film festival scheduled to be held from 2nd May to 6th May 2012 at Gdansk,  Poland.

“Sandeep Marwah will be representing not only India but the complete Asia this time” informed Monika Mohta Indian Ambassador to Poland. “It is our honor that festival management nominated an Indian film maker to represent on the prestigious film festival” Monika added.

“I am feeling very enthusiastic about being on the jury” said Sandeep Marwah. “This is the beginning of 100th year of Indian Cinema and I am representing my country to Poland. I will be missing National Awards on 3rd May at New Delhi where our film I AM is also getting award for best film of the year” Marwah expressed.

“I am pleased to be here for the release of another book of Dr. Madhukar Gangadhar a legendary figure in the field of Literature. I am elevated and made it a point to be part of this historical moment” said Tripurari Sharan IAS Director General Doordarshan in the capacity of Chief Guest. 

Expressing about his book ‘Darakhton Ke Saye’ Gangadhar said that he has written his all personal interactions and experiences with senior writers of the Nation in this book. He narrated his connections with Ramdhari Singh Dinkar, Mahadevi Verma, Dr. Laxmi Narayan Shidhanshu, Kamleshwar and in total with twenty one writers. 

Present on the occasion Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Director of Asian Academy Of Arts expressed it as one of the first ventures to be written in the form of book where personal relations of writers are brought to the public. “There are thousands of people who would like to know the personal life and instances of the National fame writers which Dr. Madhukar Gangadhar has done it” Marwah added.

  To mark the centenary year of Indian movies, a 5-day cultural festival is being organised at Pune's Vasantrao Bagul Garden, Sahakarnagar. This event is organised by Pune Navratra Mahotsav Trust President and PMC corporator Shri Aba Bagul which will be inaugurated on Sunday 29, April at 5:30 pm at the hands of Hon'ble Chief Minister of Maharashtra Shri Prithvirajji Chavan. Shiv Kumar Sharma and Sandeep Marwah, President of Asian Society of Film and Television, New Delhi will also make his first public appearance in Pune on this occasion. Smt. Madhuritai Phalke, daughter-in-law of Late Dadasaheb Phalke, Smt. Meena Munge, the heroine of the movies of Late Dadasaheb Phalke of that time will also be felicitated on this occasion. The next generation felicitation includes Anil Damle - the grandson of Vishnupant Damle of Prabhat Film Company, Arshad Fattelal - the grandson of Saheb Mama Fattelal of Prabhat Film Company, Vijaymala Mistri - daughter of Baburao Painter, Raju Naushad – son of great music director Naushad, Mustaffa Sajaad Husain – son of music director Sajaad Husain, Shaheed Raffi – son of legendary singer Mohd. “A list of events and participations has been handed over to Raj Kishor Yadav, Minister of Information and Communications, Government of Nepal to promote film, television and media activities between India and Nepal in the next few months” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios, who was there at Kathmandu on the invitation of  I & C Minister of Nepal. 

It will all start with the festival of Nepali Films at New Delhi. This is going to be the first ever film festival of Nepali films in India at Noida Film City. We have requested the minister of Information and communication to be the chief guest of the event added Marwah. 

The festival will be followed by the announcement of the two seats for scholarship for short term courses in (acting & Presentation) and (Still Photography & journalism) at Asian Academy Of Film And Television, Noida for which the minister will decide the two deserving candidates from Nepal. 

A festival of films on disability WECARE will also be planned at Kathmandu in short period of time for which the films have already been decided.

“To honor the 100 years of Indian Cinema, We are here to built up and develop the relation between two countries India and Nepal through Film, Television and Media. We are ready to adjust and accommodate the suggestions provided by the film, television and media persons of this country for the betterment of the joint programs of entertainment industry” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Chairperson of Entertainment and Media committee of PHD Chamber of Commerce, a 107 year old organization to support the industry.

“We are planning to have two film festivals in Kathmandu, related to ‘Short Digital Films’ and other one ‘WECARE’ a festival of the films on Disability” added Marwah who is also the founder of Film City Noida and Director of Asian Academy Of Film And Television, a Premier film school of the India. 

We want to offer the facilities of Noida Film City to all the film makers of Nepal at a much economical rates and want to use the locations of Nepal for our productions. A study tour is being planned by AAFT Asian Academy Of Film And Television for its students to visit the locations of this area. 

We want the film associations which are looking more facilities from Ministry of Information and Broadcasting; Government of India, can join PHD Chamber of Commerce for better say. We want Nepali Film Association to come forward in helping us in organizing Festival Of Nepali Films in India. 

AAFT can offer its facilities to all those film makers who want to make short films on the subject of Disability and Children’s issue under International Children’s Film Forum at no cost. We are also looking for joint ventures with Nepali film makers for a full length feature films.

An association of around 400 film persons in the state of Uttarakhand nominated an International Media Person Sandeep Marwah, the President of Marwah Studios and Founder of Film City Noida as its Chief Patron to guide them better towards their goals.

Sandeep Marwah who is five times World record holder, producer of 1800 short films and teacher to 9000 media professionals accepted this honor during his visit to Dehradun.

“I am flattered to be associated with this film maker’s young organization and assure you that better days are ahead” said Marwah here at Hotel Madhuban, Rajpur Road, Dehradun in a small get together of film makers.

R.K.Singh of Asian School of Communication and Kalyan Sarkar of AAFT also spoke on the occasion.

“It’s been 9th year that we are working on the subject of disability through a special designed festival called WE CARE” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and the festival. Idea is to propagate this cause and reach to the maximum number of people to sensitize about disability added Marwah while introducing the program.

A grand event was organized by Asian Academy Of Film And Television on the release of music of new film Ab Hoga Dharna Unlimited a day before the release of the film at the campus where the Producer Director Deepak Tanwar recognized the efforts of students of the institution who have worked in the film.

Present on the occasion Omkar Nath Manakpuri ( Natha of Pipli fame) said that Marwah Studios has been lucky for me as my last film Pipli which was shot at Marwah Studios was the Oscar Entry from India. My role in the film is once again very challenging in Ab Hoga Dharna Unlimited.

Two books namenly ‘Four Seasons Salads’ and ‘Soups’ written by Chef Deveder Kumar published by Shubhi Publications making Devender as writer of four books by now. “It has always been my passion to experiment with the variety of salads and preparation of soups, I have given simple recipes to my reader so that they can also do the same” said Devender in his introductory speech.

In a series of programs planned during the Platinum Jubilee celebration the Director Sandeep Marwah invited French Film Maker Capucine Henry Redon to the campus to have interface with the students.

World Water Day has been observed since 1993 when the United Nations General Assembly declared 22 March as World Day for Water. The UN and its member nations devote this day to implementing UN recommendations and promoting concrete activities within their countries regarding the world's water resources.

“We would love to have a festival of short digital films in Dubai, I am still looking for the partner who can join us in planning and designing film festival in UAE” said Sandeep Marwah the World Record Holder-Producer of largest short films during his stay at Hotel Grand Hyatt in Dubai.

“Two festivals can be planned, one festival of short digital films and second WeCare Film Festival of Films on Disability. The films can be shown together also” added Marwah while talking to the press.

Idea is to sensitize the audience about the problems of disable persons and also encourage and provide broad spectrum to young film makers of the World who have created new ideas and experimented well in their films. Many companies dealing in entertainment field showing interest in this kind of programs now.

A high profiled seminar and discussion was planned on the challenges and solutions of small and medium news papers in India by the Entertainment and Media Committee of PHD Chamber at New Delhi. The seminar was formally inaugurated by the Lt General K.M.Seth the former Governor of State of Chattisgarh. 

“A lot more interest is to be shown by the Government for the survival of Small and medium News Papers, especially the Government advertisement is to be divided proportionately” said K.M.Seth in his keynote address. 

Explaining about the need of small and medium news papers in the country Sandeep Marwah Chairperson of Entertainment & Media Committee motivated all the owners and editors of the papers attending seminar from all over India.
