Not many films are being made keeping in mind the children of the nation and their development. We need more film makers to come forward and produce such films where we can relate to the issues of children” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Chairperson of International Children’s Film Forum on the inauguration of Delhi Children Film Festival at SriFort .

Speaking on the occasion Nandita Das the Chairperson of CFSI Children’s Film Society Of India, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India offered all the 250 films to the film societies to come forward and display the films to different segments and setups of Children.

Sandeep Marwah offered facilities of Marwah Studios free of cost to all those film makers who are keen in making films on Children’s issue. ICFF-International Children’s Film Forum has already offered its services to work hand in hand with CFSI Children’s Film Society Of India.

The festival was organized by CFSI in association with Cine Darbar. The kids were excited to learn that 8 exclusively chosen films will be screened at the festival out of which 2 would be screened on the first day. Apart from films the 6 different activities including workshops, film appreciation, competition and interaction will be held during the course of the three day festival.

 We are planning to start a Sufi Circuit in India which will not only promote Sufism but also bring thousands of tourists to better destinations in the country” said Subodh Kant Sahay Union Minister of Tourism, Government of India while inaugurating the First International Sufi Festival at Ajmer. 

“We have already developed medical tourism and the biggest tourism in India is the religious tourism. Millions of people move from one place to another for the darshans of different religious places. We need to give now more emphasis to the same” Sahay added. 

“Sufism teaches us Humanity, and every religion ultimately brings back to be a good human being. Let us change our thinking and feelings to work honestly to convert and renovate this earth into heaven” said Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios and Chairperson World Peace Research And Development Foundation. 

Gulsha Begum the festival director expressed her desire to have many Sufi festivals in different cities of the country to unite India through Sufi Music. The inauguration was followed by speeches by Religious Leaders and dynamic performance by Sufi music group from Dargah of Ajmer and a group specially flown from Egypt.

 Each day of the event is dedicated to promote the message of Love, peace and Brotherhood through various art forms like Art and Photography Exhibition, Mehil-e- Sama, Geometric Paintings, Tribal Art Forms, Performing Arts- Dance and Theatre, Qawali and various discussions on social issues.

Students of Asian School of Communication- University of Central Lancashire, UK visited the production shoot of the feature film ‘Dharna Unlimited’ for a field experience. The film is produced by Deepak Tanwar and directed by Naveen Batra.
The students witnessed the working scenario of a production house and took part in the shooting process. It was an experience for the students and their enthusiasm knew no bounds when they got a chance to interact with Ehsaan Khureshi, the very well known comedian and other members of the technical team.
During the participation students of ASC learnt about the details of outdoor shooting and working on the Red camera being operated by Badshah Khan ( Wanted, Pathshala, Poison, Man fame) The various aspects of the shoot were explained to the students by Pankaj Rakesh, a film maker and also the course leader of Film Production at ASC.

The Asian School of Communication conducts under graduate and post graduate courses in Film Production and International Journalism in collaboration with University of Central Lancashire, UK under the leadership of renowned international media person Sandeep Marwah.alt

Indo Wales Creative Forum an organization to promote relations between India and Wales being operated from New Delhi fashioned by the Government of Wales joined hands with 4th Global Film Festival Noida 2011. 

“The film festival has now reached to almost film, television and media persons of 82 countries of the World in last five years. It was Peace and Spirituality which was sheltered in the first festival, Documentary was the second, third time the prominence was on Children’s Films and now it is going to be the World Cinema.” informed Sandeep Marwah President of Global Film Festival. 

The Wales Creative Business, Government of Wales through Indo Wales Creative forum recently had a festival of Welsh student films in India which was very well time-honored by the Indian film makers. Now the Welsh feature films will participate in Global Film Festival. 

The participation of Welsh Films in Global Film Festival will bring in more silkiness in the cultural relations of two countries.

Asian School Of Media Studies will joystick the 4th Global Film Festival Noida 2011 from 25th to 27th November at Marwah Studios Complex at Noida Film City founded by Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios. 

“All the departments of Asian School of Media Studies including Print, Radio, Television, Cinema, New Media, Events, Advertising and Public Relations will work in their best of capacity to bring in the preeminent in Global Film Festival Noida 2011” said Sandeep Marwah. 

The Dean Cinema Ashok Tyagi said that we are inviting the whole film industry to see to it for them selves how we are organized. Dean Journalism Om Gupta has already drawn in the complete print and electronic media to participate in the fair. 

Joint Director ASMS R.K.Singh has activated all the departments to work over time to complete all the official procedure before time.

The seven year old association created by the Government of Nigeria to promote film, television and media business with India has now joined hands with 4th Global Film Festival Noida 2011 informed Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and GFFN. 

Nigeria is now the second biggest film producing country in the World after India. Right now the emphasis is more on short films and digital film making which has to grow now more on cello lied. Nigeria has a US$ 250 million movie industry, churning out some 200 videos for the home video market every month. 

Nigerian cinema is Africa's largest movie industry in terms of both value and the number of movies produced per year. Although Nigerian films have been produced since the 1960s, the rise of affordable digital filming and editing technologies has stimulated the country's video film industry. The Nigerian video feature film industry is sometimes colloquially known as Nollywood.

The six days International Sufi Festival India 2011 at Ajmer was highlighted here at Marwah Studios in the press conference. Speaking on the occasion the Director of the festival Gulsha Begum expressed her desire to unite India through Sufi music, Art and Culture.

 

“We at Ajmer expecting Sufi Music group from different countries including Egypt, Pakistan, France, Russia,” said Gulsha Begum.  The festival has art exhibitions, seminars, talks etc. The large arrangements have been made to make it a very attractive show. “We have requested Shri Subodh Kant Sahay our Union Minister of Tourism, Government of India to inaugurate the festival.” informed Gulsha.

 'The core intention is to awaken the spirit of brotherhood, togetherness, thoughtfulness, selflessness and oneness which alone can make life in the world successful. It will revive the message Sufi saint Hazrath Khwaja Moinuddin Chishty,she added.

“We are always ready to cooperate where there is a possibility to spread the voice of Humanity” said Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios who are partners with ISFI. ”Asian School Of Media Studies has been nominated as Media Partner along with Radio Noida for this international event” added Marwah.

“We will be now part of 4th Global Film Festival Noida 2011 to be held at Noida Film City from 25th to 27th November this year’ said Khaled El Bakley the Ambassador of Egypt in India to the media persons at Marwah Studios. 

“We have already selected the Egyptian films which we want to be the part of this prestigious film festival.’ said Prof. Dr. Saad Mohmoud Shama Director of Egyptian Cultural Centre and Councellor in the Embassy of Egypt. “We want our relations to grow further with this beautiful country” he added. 

“The participation of Indo Egypt Cultural Forum with 4th Global Film Festival Noida has  brought glow to the festival’ said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and GFFN. “We also want to develop strong relations with Egypt through Cinema as well” Marwah added. 

The special counter has been allotted to the country Egypt to create an international environment at the complex during film festival. The Ambassador will inaugurate the Egypt section.

“There is always a need for newspaper which can speak the language of masses and touch the hearts of countrymen” said Dr Bhisham Narayan Singh the former Governor of many states and Union Minister of Government of India while inaugurating the daily news paper Delhi On The Go at Marwah Studios, film City with the large enthusiastic audience. 

“I hope this paper will keep in mind the India’s International relations with Egypt and also with other countries. I am sure this newspaper will highlight the Indian values which this country posses for years” said Khaled El Bakley Ambassador of Egypt in India while congratulating and lighting the lamp. 

“I am thoroughly impressed by the opening, presentation and the content of the paper which is no less than any international standard. I wish promoters Ankit Dhawan, Virat Mohan, Akshay Marwah and their complete team a very best and great success” said Salil Bhandari President of PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industries.

The Daily news paper DELHI ON THE GO has 16 pages covering all segments. It will start with free distribution of 10000 copies in Delhi and shall be available at all metro stations of Delhi. The paper will be available after 3pm which has been designed to suit  people of all age.

The newly launched media school ASC Asian School Of Communication of Asian Education Group in association with University of Central Lancashire UK has joined hands with the forth coming 4th Global Film Festival Noida 2011 from 25th to 27th November this year.

“The international media school with foreign degree to its credit has brought an international taste to the whole affair once again” said Sandeep Marwah President 4th GFFN. “We are going to give students some special duties to perform in film division as well as in journalism” added Marwah.

R.K. Singh the Joint director of ASC promised to give their whole hearted participation for this international event. “Students are excited to be part of this grand gala affair” Singh added.

Asian School Of Communication is conducting one year Masters and Undergraduate degree programs in International journalism and film production supported by University of Central Lancashire, the fifth biggest University of United Kingdom.

The Asian Business School associated with Oxford Business College at Noida conducting MBA, BBA and PGDM courses along with Media Management have joined hands with International Film And Television Club to participate and to manage the affairs of 4th Global Film Festival Noida 2011 informed Latika Sahani Dean ABS.

4th Global Film Festival has planned number of programs during three days including workshops, seminars, exhibitions, book releases, daily bulletin, non stop radio coverage, screening of world cinema, Indian panorama, retrospective of the director, films from focus country, luncheon meetings, awards, gala dinners and entertainment.

ICFF International Children’s Film Forum, an international body to promote children’s film and a good cinema  for the children has decided to join hands with 4th Global Film festival Noida 2011 to be held on 25 to 27th of November at Marwah Studios Complex at Noida Film City. 

ICFF is planning to have its own stall to project the activities of the organization and to highlight the forth coming ventures. “We are very happy that many International bodies have already recognized the efforts of Global Film Festival which is going to have its forth edition in the coming month” said Sandeep Marwah an international media person and President of GFFN. 

The Global Film Festival Noida focused on the films on peace and spirituality in the first edition, second emphasized on documentaries third promoted children’s films and now this time it is going to be the World Cinema. GFFN will have workshops, seminars, awards, retrospectives, book releases, daily news bulletin, gala dinners and entertainment programs.

Mohan Das Karamchand Gandhi was presented as the master communicator for print media by Gandhian scholar Prof Kusum Chadda to the students of (AAFT)Asian Academy Of Film And Television and (ASMS)Asian School Of Media Studies at Marwah Studios on the occasion of the 142nd birth anniversary of the father of nation. 

The event was organized under the aegis of Mahatma Gandhi Forum at Noida Film City. Speaking on the occasion Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios and Chairperson of Mahatma Gandhi Forum invited the students to write every day and present their work for publication. He also asked students to come up with scripts for the films which will be facilitated by the school. 

Prof Chadda elaborated how Gandhi used print media to fight against the British Raj and forced them to leave eventually through his three newspapers --Young India, Navjivan and Harijan. 

Quoting extensively from his writings she established the power and impact of Gandhian commentaries and frontal attack on the empire. She said like Gandhi students should become good observer, writer and reader of contemporary events and use media towards the social service.

“Shakespeare (1564-1616) – the renowned playwright and poet who had impacted the world over areas of literature, culture, art, theatre and film – is considered the best English language writer ever” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios. 

 This somewhat incomprehensible genius is also known as the England’s National Poet and Bard of Avon. His writings are timeless and universal in nature. Shakespeare combined poetic genius with a practical sense of the theatre, his skill to dramatize stories is out of the world. 

 Shakespeare’s style of writing ensures that his plays can survive translation, cuttings and wide interpretation without loss of its core drama. His plays have been translated in most living languages and are to this day, staged across the world. Shakespeare’s literary work consist of 38 play and many poems and sonnets. 

The aims and objectives of Shakespeare Society of Marwah Studios are as follows:-  

i)    Systematic classroom study of the literary works of Shakespeare

ii)   Reading and discussing literary works of Shakespeare in seminars and symposia.

iii)  Translating Shakespeare’s outstanding literary work in Hindi and other Indian       languages.

iv)  Staging of Shakespeare’s plays to support the theatre movement.

v)   Adapting Shakespeare’s outstanding plays as literature for the children.

vi)   Establishing links with the Shakespeare societies across the world.

“Mahatma Gandhi strongly believed that there is no other God than truth and the only means for the realization of truth is ahimsa” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios here on the birth anniversary of Father of The Nation at Noida Film City.

“He practiced satyagraha (insistence of truth) which seeks to eliminate antagonism without harming the antagonist and arms the individual with moral strength.” added Marwah. Mahatma Gandhi urged upon the people to be tolerant as intolerance betrays want of faith in one’s cause. He was of the view that non-cooperation in satyagraha is in fact a means to secure the cooperation of the opponent consistently with truth and justice.

 Mahatma Gandhi also believed in non-violence and in vegetarism. He lead a simple life style and advised those involved in public service to do so. Mahatma Gandhi had invented a novel and humane approach to India’s struggle for freedom. He shaped India’s political identity as a tolerant, secular democracy. Mahatma Gandhi’s philosophy had influenced famous activists across the world.
