The first batch of Media Courses of Asian School of Communication, a part of University of Central Lancashire, Preston, United Kingdom under the President ship of Sandeep Marwah was launched today.

The Asian School of Communication (ASC) will conduct graduate and post graduate courses in Film Production and International Journalism in collaboration with UCLan. The students across the nation and world will now have the opportunity to get a UK degree in India.

The course was inaugurated by Ms Megan Knight, professor of University of Central Lancashire who especially flown for the purpose. Asian School of Communication is the first and the only media School in India directly under the University.

The function was also addressed by R.K Singh, Head of School ASC and conducted by Nimrata Bagga, Division Leader, ASC. alt

The first member of the Governing Council of 20 year old organization Asian Academy Of Film And Television, Marwah Studios, Noida Film City Surinder Kapoor left for his heavenly abode on 24th September, 2011. 

The entire Governing Council, Management Committee, Board of Directors, Permanent and visiting Faculty, students of Asian School of Media Studies, Asian Business School, Asian School Of Communication and Asian Academy Of film And Television including the 9000 alumni of the film and Business schools extend their heart felt condolences and paid their gratitude  to the departed soul. 

Surinder Kapoor the former President of Film Producers Guild, recipient of many awards and film producer of  films like Jab Se Tumhe Dekha, Tarzan Comes to Delhi, Ek Shriman Ek Shrimati, Phool Khile Gulshan Gulshan, Shehzada, Ponga Pandit, Hum Panch, Woh Saat Din, Mr. India, Roop Ki Rani Charon Ka Raja, Prem, Humara Dil Apke Ke Paas Hai, Judai, Pukar, No Entry, Wanted etc played long innings in the Industry. 

“We have lost our mentor, I have no words to express my self, we are in deep sorrow” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios. “We will live up to his expectations, he always wanted us to be the best” Marwah added.

International Public Broadcasting Forum, a body to promote film and television production and to support new directors and writers to make theme oriented films has joined hands with 4th Global Film Festival Noida 2011. 

The IPBF has been commissioning films to young directors who have concrete social ideas and have directorial qualifications. “We have requested to the governing council of IPBF to commission three films during the three days of Global Film festival  at Noida” informed Sandeep Marwah President of the Organization. 

International Public Broadcasting Forum will have a special stall at the time of 4th GFFN for all those who are looking for the opportunity to start new project with some social theme. The film can be fiction or may be a documentary. IPBF will provide all necessary facilities to the new writer-directors under term and conditions.

The 18 year old Film, Television and Media School (AAFT) Asian Academy of Film And Television will provide complete technical support to the forth coming 4th Global Film Festival Noida 2011 scheduled from 25th to 27th November at Marwah Studios, Noida Film City.

“All the departments including Direction, Cinematography, Sound, Editing, Still Photography, Acting, Graphics and Animation have already started working on the details of each and every segment and section of 4th Global Film Festival.” Informed Sandeep Marwah President of the festival.

The Board of Directors, Management and Faculty have started short listing the jobs and works for every department so that better results can be handed over to the participants and delegates of the festival.

The festival will include workshops, seminars, symposiums, interactions, lunches and gala dinners, entertainment and exhibitions, market section besides regular screening of films in different setups. This time festival will add retrospective and awards.

“When you think negative it reacts negative on you and when you think positive you start moving forward in life” said Maddy Malhotra a motivator from United Kingdom talking to the students of (ABS) Asian Business School at Noida.

“Maddy Malhotra started his carrier from Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh and moved to United Kingdom for better prospects. Maddy failed in many occasion to reach to a situation where he found the job and payment equal to IITians after his education in Information Technology’ said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios while introducing him to the audience.

“Get inspiration from successful people, have vision and work hard continuously to achieve your targets” Maddy added. “Nothing comes easy, efforts in right direction on regular basis can only make you achiever” Maddy explained.

Success comes to those who opt to be successful” said Maddy Malhotra a well known motivator from United Kingdom while addressing the media students of Asian School Of Media Studies at Noida Film City.

“People who are lazy they belong to third category, who needs lots of pull and push belong to second and self motivators and self starters are the people of first class” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios. “It is the strong determination which helps us in solving all the problems of life” Marwah added while releasing the new book BULLET PROOF BELIEF written by Maddy on self motivation.

Maddy Malhotra started his carrier from Ghaziabad few years back now settled in United Kingdom after finishing different courses in Information Technology. Maddy has seen number of ups and downs and is self made. He has been drawing salary more than a professional from engineering school even though he had no help and support when he left India for Uk with a heavy loan.

“Film Making is not only an art but it is a business and management exercise” said Dharmesh Darshan Director of super hit films like Raja Hindustani, Dharkan, Lootare, Bewaffa etc while addressing the management students of Asian Business School in Noida. He explained them the process of film making.

“First you have to be manager of your own, then only you can sustain as the member of the team in film making. You have to be punctual, regular, sincere and dedicated whether you are an actor, director or any technician in films” added Sandeep Marwah while introducing the great cinema maker who has given 4th biggest hit of Indian Cinema.

The World renowned Media Personality Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios has been nominated as the President of 4th Global Film Festival Noida 2011 in the General Board Meeting of IFTC International Film And Television Club.

Sandeep Marwah is a theatre, film, television and media person carries five international records to his credit. The founder of Noida Film City and teacher to 9000 media professionals has already organized more than 700 events of national and international stature. He has been associated with large number of film, TV, and Media organizations.

Marwah the producer of largest of short films in the World has been also associated with other film festivals. He has been on the Panel of Judges at Budapest film festival with Oscar winning Directors, Mons Film Festival, Belgium, Apsara Film Award and National Film Awards of Government of India. He has been the recipient of more than 100 prestigious honors including at 33rd Cairo International Film Festival along with Salma Hike and Samuel Jackson.

The 20 years old film Organization International Film And Television Club meant to promote film and television business including promotion of film festival has decided to host once again the 4th Global Film Festival Noida 2011 to be held on 25th to 27th November 2011.

International Film And Television Club has so far launched five festivals in the country including AAFT Festival of Short Digital Films, ASMS Festival of Short Films, International Festival of Mobile Cinema, WECARE Festival of Films on Disability and Global Film Festival Noida.

“We have almost emerged as the biggest festival of North India as last time in 3rd Global we showcased 227 films, 42 events and 5000 footfall in three days” said Sandeep Marwah of Marwah Studios and Chairperson of IFTC.

International Film And Television Club has members from all over the World and people from all strata of life including Media and Entertainment Industry.

Another glorious chapter was added to the prestigious Asian Academy of Film and Television when it showcased seven brilliant films of the outgoing students in its 71st digital short films festival at Marwah Studios. Festival inaugurated by famous Bollywood film director Dharmesh Darshan who gives may hit movies like Raja Hindustani, Lootere, Dhadkan, Bewaffaa and many more.

On the occasion Dharmesh Darshan said from a long I am waiting for a good script and now I am doing work on the script. In this institute the training and education given to the students is really remarkable because the practical experience, techniques and latest information about the cinema and media world are really good for the student carrier. On the occasion Director Marwah Studio Sandeep Marwah Said there is a geometrical progression in the form and content of the films made by the students. That speaks volumes about the quality of the education and training being imparted at this two-decade old institute which is now an established institution.

In this festival the 7 movies made by the students are ‘The Ambush made by Kirtiman Singh dealt with greed, power, lust and treachery in the underworld. ‘Dad’s Blessings’ by Abhinav Chhabra, ‘Redemption’ by Femi Bamigobla, ‘Tasveerein…..Zindagi ke Panno se’ by Sneha Shreyasi, Medicine by Anwar Ali, Karam Veer Sawhney’s “Sometimes it happens ” and Dheeraj’s “Catch 22.

“It was not long ago when Jagmohan Mundhra was there at AAFT Asian Academy Of Film And Television to promote his film Apartment with his star cast. Who knew it that he will never come back again” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios remembering Jag Mundhra a renowned film maker at Noida Film City.

Jagmohan Mundhra was an Indian filmmaker best known for his early career as an American exploitation film writer-director and his later career as maker of such issue-oriented movies as Bawandar and Provoked.

After his first dramas, Suraag and the socially-relevant film, Kamla, Jag Mundhra directed, in the late 1980s and the 1990s, a string of horror and erotic thriller movies for theatrical distribution and direct to video, including The Jigsaw Murders (1988), Halloween Night (1988), Night Eyes (1990), L.A. Goddess (1993), Sexual Malice (1994) and Tales of the Kama Sutra 2: Monsoon (1998).

The faculty and students of AAFT kept silence for two minutes as a mark of respect to the departed soul.

A special International conference on ‘Women’s Literacy for inclusive and sustainable Development’ has been organized from 8th to 10th Sept. at Manekshaw Centre by the National Literacy Mission Authority, Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India at New Delhi.

Films made by students from Wales, Great Britain were shown at a festival organized by International Film and Television Club and In association with Indo-wales creative forum at Marwah Studios here today.

Renowned cinematographer Inder Sachdeva who is credited with more than 700
serials gave some invaluable tips to the film and television students of Asian Film and Television Academy and Asian School of Media Studies.

Welcoming the esteemed guests, Cultural ambassador of wales Sandeep Marwah said Wales represent the best in Great Britain and by reaching out to this culturally rich principality of the UK, Marwah Studios has established cultural links for the benefit of students and faculty.

Noted cultural personality Dinesh Mishra said such festival make the world a better place to live and work for. Mustafa Qureshi, noted news photographer from Associated Press was of the opinion that after some time media professional should work to show their best rather then just adhering to deadlines and following the agenda of the organization.

O.P.Mishra, chief visualiser of Indian Express laented that people working behind the scene are the unsung heroes but their work is their own reward.

Hundred of students watched the creativity of their counterparts from across seven seas with rapt attention in the jam packed auditorium.

“There may be different ways to walk on, but the destination still the same. There may be different religion but ultimately all of them teach us humanity” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios congratulating everyone at Noida Film City on the auspicious day of EID. 

Reading the message of our Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh who had earlier greeted the nation on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, Marwah said that the Festival of Eid highlights the spirit of sacrifice and the joy of sharing.

"The celebrations marking the end of the Ramzan fasting foster peace and harmony and reflect the true spirit of our composite culture. May the festival spread peace, tolerance and harmony among all,” read the complete message. 

The students of Asian Academy Of Film And television, Asian Business School and Asian School Of Media Studies exchanged sweets and gifts with each other. Many people from the faculty also spoke on the occasion.
