ICFF, the newly constructed social body of Marwah Studios International Children’s Film Forum with the purpose of uplifting society through Cinema and especially through Children’s film created a new wave in the city of Noida. To start with the managing committee organized six programs by showing theme oriented short films produced by MFVP at six different villages and slums.
“Cinema is the best mode of mass communication to leave largest impact on society” said Sandeep Marwah, the President of ICFF and Marwah Studios. “We will put our best foot down to promote social issues concerning children through cinema from village to village in the country, we have tied up with 30,000 schools in the country where we will project social issues.” added Marwah.

Talking from the dice on the first day, S.M.Khan, the Director of Directorate of Film festivals of India, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India said “to attract foreign film makers into our festivals Government of India has announced a prize for 40 lacs for the best film, which is highest in the World. The seminar was attended by Film Director Madhur Bhandarkar, Ashok Pandit,President of Marwah Studios Sandeep Marwah, Actor Mukesh Tyagi,art connoisseur Nevllie Tuli,Sheemaroo Director Hiren Gada and Channel Mahua's Geetanjali Sehgal. The show stopper was Sandeep Marwah who alone with great enthusiasm discarded the views of the other speakers who were not earlier convinced that Indian films and entertainment industry is now Global. The renowned film director Esmayeel Shroff and Adeep Tondon jointly inaugurated the 64th festival of short digital films at Asian Acaedemy Of Film and Television of the films made by the students of 63rd batch of the institute. The second day of 2nd Global Festival of documentary Films 2009 proved very lucky for the children when a forum was launched before the august audience consisting of film, TV, Media persons from all over India and other parts of the World jointly by H.E. Voroshilov Enkhbold the Ambassador of Mangolia in India, renowned film makers Basu Chatterjee, Karl Bardosh, Pankaj Parashar Gurbir Garewal and music director Wajid Khan.

The Red Carpet became the centre of attraction on the opening of 2nd Global Festival of Documentary films at Film City Noida organized by International Film And Television Club under the president ship of Sandeep Marwah of Marwah Studios a renowned Media, Film and TV personality of this part of the World.
“I have always believe in promoting young and talented film makers by creating an opportunity for them in this beautiful trade” said Sandeep Marwah to the international press gathered along with film makers, participants, who”s who of entertainment industry, film and TV students from all over the World.
A formal inauguration took place by lighting the lamp by the renowned, veteran writer, producer and Director Basu Chatterjee along with film director Pankaj Parashar, Manoj Pahwa the famous actor ,Tarry Parrish of Ice Academy, U.K, film maker Shekh Nasir with Suman Bajaj Kalra festival Director and President of the festival Sandeep Marwah.

The renowned Asian Media Personality Sandeep Marwah, the President of Marwah Studios has been honored at 33rd Cairo International Film Festival and has been introduced to the World Cinema and its fraternity as the producer of largest number of short films in the World and President of one of the most successful film schools of the World.
Established since 1976, the Cairo International Film Festival is classified as a category “A” festival as recognized by the FIAPF (International Federation of Film Producer’s Associations) and is undoubtedly the oldest and most important festival in the Middle East and has been an inspiration to several other budding festivals.
This year the CIFF has acknowledged its honored tradition and welcome the new generation of brilliant filmmakers from India by honoring Indian Cinema. The festival is from 10th to 20th November in Cairo and has been attended , by the whos who of cinema World including Salma Hayek, Samuel L. Jackson, Lucy Liu and Tom Berenger, who is also a member on the international jury.

On 31st October 2009, the Asian Business School, Noida hosted the Convocation Ceremony for the batch 2009. The ceremony marked the ending of an epoch as the students ere prepared to enter the corporate world. Te morning was marked with excited faces of the students who come to celebrate the occasion. The stage was commanded by Prof. Sandeep Marwah who reminded the students to hold the head high and be proud to be alumni of Asian Business School. His speech was extremely motivating and inspiring. Dean Mrs. Latika Sahni also welcomes the guests, giving the brief growth and achievement of ABS. She also gave few words of wisdom the passing out students Mr. M.S. The Director in the Govt. of India’s Film Festivals Directorate S M Khan said that documentary film makers deserve all possible help and support in their work. He was formally releasing the first poster of the Global Festival of Documentary Films being organized by Marwah Films & Video Studio from the 20th to 22nd November 2009. Giving details of this event Sandeep Marwah remarked that documentaries play a vital role in educating and informing the masses for making the society healthy, happy and balanced one. In his address S M Khan mentioned that a special section for the short and documentary films has been earmarked in the film festivals being organized by his directorate and many other festivals He invited the students of Asian Academy of Film & Television, Asian School of Media Studies and Asian Business School to work as volunteers in the forth coming International Film Festival to be held in Goa. He also informed that the Films Division of Govt. of India will be holding their next Festival of Documentary Films in the month of February next year. The life membership of International Film & Television Club was given away to S M Khan on this occasion.

The Ambassador of Taiwan His Excellency Mr. Wenchyi Ong said that beside its unifying force a good film can easily strike a chord in the viewer. He was formally inaugurating the festival of films from Taiwan at Asian Academy of Film & Television. Family value, respect for the elderly, belief in democracy and diversity, working as a team and attaching importance to spiritual life are the dominant commonalities between the people of Taiwan and India he added. In his introductory remarks Prof. Sandeep Marwah said that watching films from Taiwan would indeed be a refreshing experience for the students. The Ambassador disclosed that he has invited the well known Taiwanese Director Ang Lee to make his next film in India and hoped that collaboration with Indian film producers will lead to making great films to tell the world remarkable stories of both India and Taiwan. The management of Marwah Film & Video Studios in Noida Film City recently played host to a group of students from England. This group is a part of the young people selected under the Prime Minister of England Global Fellowship Programme. This programme has been designed to familiarize the members of the young generation with issues related to language culture, diversity, economic growth and development in three of the world’s fastest emerging economics – India, Brazil and China. President of Marwah Films & Video Studios Sandeep Marwah briefed the visitors about the Indian film industry and replied to their queries. Later a workshop in filmmaking was conducted for the visiting young and enthusiastic students. A thirty day schedule of Adeep Tandon venture ‘Naazuk Saa Modd’ has begun today at Marwah Studios. A love triangle suspense thriller is to be directed by Addeep Tandon who is a well known cinematographer for number of prestigious projects like Saaransh, Thikana Censor, Grihpravesh etc. The film is being produced by Swapan Dey and Co-produced by Vikas Garg in association with Marwah Studios, Noida. Raghav Marwah is the executive producer of this feature film.
The film is written by Esmayeel Shroff a well known Director who has scripted this film for the first time for an outside director. Some of his well known film are Bulandi, Agar, Thodi Se Bewafai, Tarkieb, Majdhar, God and Gun, Ahista Ahista, Jhutha Such, Dil Akhir Dil Hai and Police Public etc. The film will be shot in Delhi and Noida from start to finish.
The music for the film has been given by Lalit Sen of (Dhoop, Monsoon, Heera Pheri fame), Lyrics by Nida Fazli of (Sarfrosh, Razia Sultan, Sur fame), Editor is Rajeev Gupta, Audiographer is S.K. Srivastava, Art Direction by the National Award Winner Shyam Bhutkar, Choregraphy by Bhushan Lakhandari of (Devdas, Sawariya, Hum Apke Hain Koun fame), Singers are Mohd. Salamat, Javed Ali, Vinod Rathod and Vaishali, for Media Coordination Sunil Prashar is associated with this venture.
“I am going to share my 30 year long experience in the industry with my audience through this film” said Adeep Tandon. “Sandeep Marwah of Marwah Studios is going to lend valuable support to us” he added.

The sixteen years old institution running under the banner of International Film And Television Club headed by Sandeep Marwah the renowned media personality now is open to the students of Asian Business School, Noida informed Latika Sahani the dean of ABS. The International Film And Television Club had been framed for the promotion of good films and television programs through screenings retrospectives, seminars and symposia and to create interaction and development of contacts between film makers and television professionals both nationally & internationally. It also includes the circulation and exchange of films and television programs at National and International level including film and television professional. The pupose also contains the advancement of Film and Television productions. A separate wing has been specially organized by Prof. Harshvardhan Vice President IFTC for the students of Asian Business School [ABS].Students can also represent IFTC in the States and Districts for the promotion of film and TV activities in their areas to be supported and finance by the Club.The decision has been jointly taken by Sandeep Marwah and the board of IFTC.

An exhibition of colorful paintings by Neema lal was jointly inaugurated by Jaganath, the former Secretary of Home Affairs, Government of Uttar Pradesh and Vikas Garg renowned business man and the film producer at Marwah Studios, Film City, Noida.
“Paintings are like poetry which you have to write with colors and it expresses all your emotions on canvas,” said Jaganath while releasing the brochure. Neema Lal has worked with Artists from Denmark for a period of five years before joining Treveni Kala Sangam. "I extend my heartiest congratulation to Neema for opting Marwah Studios for her solo show within Media students, she is very expressive in her work” said Vikas Garg.
“My journey from cotemporary to abstract helped me to make layers in paintings which help to have perspective effects, but this is not sufficient I would like to increase the number of layers to give more 3D effects.” Said Neema Lal while explaining her paintings to the students of Asian Academy of Film and Television (AAFT) “I want to incorporate in my paintings new trends and recent techniques of other countries along which my own technique to give a much broader and wider look to my creations. The world should know that new chapter has been added in the field of art.” added Neema Lal.

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus in India H.E.Oleg Laptenok visited Marwah Studios, a hub centre for Arts and Cultural promotion to discuss in detail the ways and means to promote Belarus films, art and culture in India and vice versa with the renowned International personality Sandeep Marwah, president of Marwah Studios Creative Enterprises.
“We are keen in creating awareness about the culture, art, and cinema of Belarus in India and vice versa’ said H.E.Oleg Laptenok, Ambassador of Belarus in India. “We want people in this country should know the beauty, the locations, the tourism, and the films of our country. ”he added.

Five days festival of Egyptian Films inaugurated by H.E. Mohamed Higazy, the Ambassador of Arab Republic of Egypt in India at Asian Academy of Film And Television at Noida Film City. Some of the best films including Elmaseer-The Destiny by Youssef Chahine , Malek Wa Ketaba-Heads And Tails Directed by Kamla Abu Zekry,Hassan & Morcos directed by Rami Imran etc are going to be part of the festival. The excitement in the campus was enormous as it was also the first day of 65th batch of AAFT. The students enrolled from all over India and abroad in this batch were busy reading large banners and posters about Egyptian films, all over campus. “We are keen in developing very cordial relations with India through films” said HE Mohamed Higazy while inaugurating the festival. “We want the two countries to be like brothers and we are ready for cultural exchange and education exchange programs” he added talking to the media students at Marwah Studios. “The International Film and Television Club of AAFT has been conducting many festivals in India and now this festival has added another feather in the cap of IFTC” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios. “Films are the Ambassadors of culture of any country, today it is the amalgamation of two oldest civilizations of the World through films,” Marwah added. The renowned asian media personality, president of Marwah Studios Sandeep Marwah and well known international Indian star Anil Kapoor were recently invited by H.E. Dr Mohamed Higazy, the Ambassador of Arab Republic of Egypt in India to discuss the cultural exchange between two oldest civilizations of Earth.
“We are keen in developing and promoting cultures of India and Egypt where country men of both the countries can relate to each other comfortably” said H.E. Dr. Mohamed Higazy. “We want to open the doors of our country for Indian Art and Culture too.” He added.

The Taipei Economic & Cultural Center in New Delhi has decided to have a cultural week of Taiwan at Noida Film City along with a festival of films in the first week of November.
“We are ready with the cinema from Taiwan and also planning to have art exhibition at AAFT campus and a cultural show in this November” said Joy yen, the Director of Information Division , Taipei Economic & Cultural Center In New Delhi.
“In contrast to the melodrama or kung-fu action films of the earlier decades, New Wave Taiwan films are known for their realistic, down-to-earth, and sympathetic portrayals of Taiwanese life. These films sought to portray genuine stories of people living either in urban or rural Taiwan, and are often compared stylistically to the films of the Italian neorealism movement.” Said Sandeep Marwah, president of Marwah Studios.. The Screening of the films will indeed to be a great learning experience for the students of cinema in our country” he added.

A full day workshop on the ethics of journalism and how to be a good journalist took place at Marwah Studios organized by the International Film And Television Research Centre in association with Asian School Of Media Studies and Asian Academy Of Film And TV for the working journalist of different News papers and TV channels.
“Be honest to your profession, journalism needs lots of passion, running a news paper is like a prayer” said Dr Bhisham Narayan Singh, former Union Minister, Government Of India and Former Governer of 7 states of India while inaugurating National Workshop on Journalism. “Honesty pay in life, it is always tough way to success” he added.
“It is important to pursue with the stories till it reaches to its end” said veteran journalist Santosh Bhartiya who has made his position from a reporter to member of Rajya Sabha. “Never afraid from the strong influences, believe in investigation,” Santosh added.

The collection of films on different issues of disabilities were projected to the large crowd, film and television students of AAFT,ASMS and ABS with an idea to evoke emotions towards people who are sometimes ignored by the community and society for no rhyme or reasons. “We have joined hands with Brotherhood only to promote the idea of creating awareness towards disability” said Sandeep Marwah, President Marwah Studios. “We at brotherhood have pledged to promote our disable brothers and sisters to come forward in life and become independent” said Satish Kapoor, the Director of the Festival .The festival is supported by the information Centre of United Nation, National Trust, Shivkala Motion Pictures and International Film And Television Club. “We have to look back into Hindi feature films like Black, Dosti, Tare Zameen pain, Koshish where a huge information is highlighted on disability” said Sameer Sen Chief Guest of the day and renowned music director who has given music to 150 feature films like Jalwa ,Arjun Pandit, Anari No 1, Achanak, Salakhen, Kartavaya etc. B.B.Choudhary IPS, Sanjeev Sachdeva, Rajeev Chandran of United Nation Information Centre, R.K.Singh former Engineer in Chief, Doordarshan, Raghaveddhiraa of Mangolore Port Trust ,Sharad Dutt of Channel P7 were the other speakers of the day. The pogramme was followed by screening of 15 selected short films on Disability.Later Marwah honored the guests with membership of IFTC.

Davin Dhawan was greeted by the president of Marwah Studios Sandeep Marwah who introduced him to the excited, charged and large gathering of students, Media Persons and film makers present to listen to David’s experience of Indian Film Industry. ”Who can tell us better than David about Film Industry who has dealt with every actor, producer, music director, artist and technicians in his 42 feature films” said Sandeep Marwah. His classmate, Film Director and Dean Cinema, Asian School Of Media Studies Ashok Tyagi, recollected their days of struggle in Mumbai when they were looking for their first major projects. “This is one industry where first you have to deserve than you have to desire.” said Ashok Tyagi. “Film Business requires deep interest, sincere efforts and continuous persuasion to get success, and David is the real example of the same.” added Ashok Tyagi. The HOD Cinema ASMS Rahul Sehgal could not resist mentioning that “,David Dhawan has today created a separate School Of Thought in Indian Film Industry. He has promoted Comedy Genre which is most difficult to present.” Other noted personalities who spoke on the occasion were Suman Bajaj Kalra Dean Of Studies ASMS, Kalyan Sarkar Dean AAFT, Later Sandeep Marwah the founder of Asian Education Society honored David Dhawan with ACADEMY AWARD and presented him with the life membership of International Film And Television Research Centre. “The making of sketches and right combination of colors is the beginning and development of all arts in the person”, said D.J.Narain, the Director of Song and Drama Division, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government Of India while inaugurating and appreciating the exhibition of paintings by Paresh Mridha at Marwah Studios, FilmCity, Noida.
“A large set of colorful paintings are displayed as it is the part of the syllabus of the students of Asian Academy Of Film And Television” said Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios who believes that studying paintings is the development of aesthetic sense in the young aspirants trying to be in the film and television trade.
“I am lucky to be associated today with film business and media students of AAFT , it has given me a new energy and lots of ideas to bring in new style in my working” said Paresh Mridha, the senior artist whose works have already been appreciated in number of shows in India and abroad. It was the first day of the students of 64th batch of AAFT.

Later Pradeep Pallavi, the special guest at the Convocation who has been the Comedy king Of TV for a very long time created laughter while addressing the audience. The President of AAFT Sandeep Marwah presented life membership of International Film and Television Club to the guests and informed students about the forth coming activities of the school. “Believe in oneself and trust in the education will always take you miles ahead. Nagendra Karri, the Indian born film maker who owns Eternal Mind Production LLC in New York was recently at Asian Academy of Film And Television to meet the President Sandeep Marwah whom he first met at 62nd Cannes Film Festival. Nagendra went through the whole campus of Marwah Studios and met the students who all were busy with their own productions. ”I am Keen to partner with Marwah Studios for my next venture called “Mobster” which will be shot in multi locales including India, said Karri while releasing the new publications of International Film And Television Research Centre of AAFT. “We have publication Department where we publish books and journals related to film, Television and Media.” said Sandeep Marwah. “Our International Film and Television Research Center is the first research Centre of the country” added Marwah. Later Marwah presented a set of books to the guest of the day. Marwah informed that Nagendra Karri has announced this new film after the successful debut screening of his first Directorial Venture “Where are you Sophia?” a suspenseful psychological thriller at the recently concluded Cannes Film festival. Karri, who directed, produced and wrote the film at the age of 26, has masters in computer science and electronics and a background in theater. Karri is quite keen in giving opportunity to the Acting and Technical students of AAFT and ASMS in his forth coming film.

Asian School of Media Studies, Noida along with University of Central Lancashire, Preston, UK together have decided to promote students of journalism of their schools, by signing a joint student exchange program. ”I would like to invite students from UCLAN to come and see for them selves how journalism is taught and learned in India. Delhi is the hub centre for Cultural as well as political activities.” said Sandeep Marwah, the President of Marwah Group of Creative Enterprises.

Claudia Ciesla is a German model, actress and singer of Polish descent. Ciesla started modeling at the age of 15 working for shows involved in fashion and dancing. In May 2006 she was selected by Bild as the Football/Soccer Worldcup Girl 2006, and during the World Cup 2006 she was featured on the front page of a total of seven publications of that newspaper.”I am honoured to be part of Marwah Studios, especially the film and TV education which has always impressed me I would love to cast in one of their films.” said Claudia. In 2007 and again in 2008 she was appearing on the German Internet soap opera Beach House, playing the part of Daisy Vandenburg. In 2008 Claudia Ciesla was in Austria chosen for the Snow Queen 2008. Ciesla is acting in a Bollywood film Karma along with leads Carlucci Weyant, Alma Saraci, and DJ Perry as part of an international film crew to be filmed in India . In July 2008 Ciesla played the role of CLAUDIA in the new Italian TV-Sitcom "Outsiders in Palermo" shooted in Palermo/Italy.In Aug. 2008 Claudia played the female lead in the German-Indian Film "Ki Jana Pardes" In Aug/Sept Claudia acted in Calcutta, in the role of a German journalist for the Film Directed by "Arin Paul together with award winning film star Soumitra Chatterjee and sang the title song of this movie.
