“My 30 years of experience in cooking, hotels and food inspired me to list out 365 types of Kebabs and their recipes to sum up in one single book”, said Davinder Kumar on the release of his book ‘Just Kebabs Celebration of 365 days and One For A Leap Year’ at Hotel Le Meridien in the presence of august audience who all were invited to taste the variety of Kebabs hosted by the Chairperson of the hotel Mrs Charan jeet Singh.

 

The Election Commissioner of India Dr.S.Y.Quraishi could not resist expressing his liking for food and named few dishes which have already forgotten by many since they could not be documented any time. Appreciating Davinder Kumar’s efforts Quraishi said “I cannot miss the food and Kebabs Delhi walas have been eating at some popular eating joints.”

The Editor of Hindustan Times Vir Sanghvi who was the chief guest of the evening unveiled the the first copy of the book and said “This is one of the finest collection of recipes of Kebabs, I am sure many hotels and Chefs will treat this book as ready reference for their menu” Vir Sanghvi congratulated the team of chefs who all worked with Davinder Kumar in the test and trials.

 

“I am vegetarian and the book has broken the myth that Kebabs are only non-vegetarian” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios. “The book has recipes of 120 vegetarian kebabs which can be tried even at home” added Marwah. Later the publisher of the book Sanjay Arya of Shubhi Publications paid vote of thanks.[ Asian News Agency]
