The Kareena-Shahid posters of the film Milenge Milenge attracted a huge crowd of young enthusiastic students to the auditorium where Satish kaushik decided to show the promos to the National press at Marwah studios .There was hardly a space to enter in the hall which was over booked to see on screen this wonderful pair of the Indian film industry Kareena and Shahid.

“Milenge Milenge- I assure you that Satish Kaushik is going to meet you today” said Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios introducing Satish Kaushik to the over excited audience of this special show.

Answering to the questions by press Satish Kaushik narrated many instances which have left impact on him while making the film. “I am missing my actors today but they are busy out side India for shooting their films respectively” said Satish. “My producer Boney Kapoor is busy releasing film. I can assure you my lead pair they look as fresh on screen as ever or as you would like to see them on screen” he added.

“My style of film making is different, I believe in telling story” said Jag Mundhra the writer and Director of feature film ‘Apartment’ while introducing his cast to the national press at Marwah Studios in Noida Film City. Jag mundhra who has been the writer, producer, director and editor of many films like Bhawander, Mansoon, Back Waters, Shoot on Sight, Chase etc. this time coming with the thriller.

The part of two national award winning films ‘Traffic Sighnal’ and ‘Oye Lucky Oye’ and the leading lady of 13 feature films Neetu Chandra confirmed that nothing is controversial in the film. She said, “I am an actor and has to perform as per the direction of my director, I have given my best”. “From a simple small town girl to a smart city girl, .I got the opportunity to show my talent” Neetu added.

The President of Marwah Studios, Sandeep Marwah organized a special interactive program of the star cast with the students of Asian Academy Of Film And Television, ABS and ASMS. “It is very important for the film and TV students to learn from their seniors of the industry.” said Marwah, while presenting life membership of International Film and Television Club to Jag Mundhra.

Others who were present there were former Miss Afghanistan Vida Samadzai, Super model from Chile Jennifer Mayani who have also played in the film Aparment along with Anupam Kher, Rohit Roy, Tanushree Dutta. The Final result for Non Feature Film Category Awards was handed over to Smt Ambika Soni Minister of Information and Broadcasting , Government of India by the jury in Shastri Bhawan. " I am aware of the hard efforts of the jury and non stop screening of the films,and the clear and sincere intentions has brought these results to the nation" said Minister in the press conference.

‘AFSPA 1958’ was adjudged the Best Non-Feature Film for the courageous depiction of the non-violent resistance of the people of Manipur. Vinoo Choliparambil would be awarded under the category ‘Best First Non-Feature Film of a Director’s for his film Vitthal. Films Division produced ‘The Assassination of Rajiv Gandhi – A Reconstruction’ has been selected under the category ‘Best Biographical / Historical Reconstruction’ / Compilation film’. Another Films Division work ‘The Land of Rupshupas’ was selected under Best Agriculture Film category. Film & Television Institute of India’s produced ‘Trip’ will be awarded as best scientific film. FTII’s ‘Stations’ was also selected as Best Short Fiction Film. Manoj Kannoth gets the Award for Best Editing for ‘Stations’. Children’s Film Society of India produced Prince and the Crown of Stones was selected as the Best Animation Film. The Best Direction Award goes to Umesh Kulkarni for his work ‘Three of Us’. ‘ Three of Us’ also got the award for Best Cinematography.

Ninety Nine entries for non-feature film section were viewed by jury headed by Ms Arunaraje Patil and Shri Krishnendu Bose, Shri Anirban Dutta, Shri Sandeep Marwah, Shri R.V. Ramani, Shri Sarfaraz Siddiqui and Ms. Neena Mohan as members.

"We have gone through each and every entry throughly,discussed every film, analyised every screening and then come to the decision before declaring the results" said Sandeep Marwah,the jury member. The renowned film and TV personality President of Marwah Studios Sandeep Marwah has been nominated by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India as member of Jury for National Award Non Feature films Category. This section contains Documentaries, Short fiction and non fiction films and Animation films. Marwah has already created an International record of producing largest number of short films in the World.

“The final screening of around 100 films competing for 22 categories, have been received from all over India.” said S.M Khan Director of Directorate of Film Festivals. “I am proud to be part of National Award Jury, It has given me immense pleasure that Government of India has recognized my efforts in Entertainment Industry” said Sandeep Marwah who is also the Director of Asian Academy of Film and Television in Noida.

 The jury is headed by known film maker Aruna Raje Patil from Mumbai. The other members on jury are film makers Reena Mohan and Krishnendu Bose from Delhi, Anirban Dutta from Calcutta, RV.Ramani from Chennai, and film journalist Sarfaraz Saddiqui.[ Asian News Agency ]

3rd Global Summit on Entertainment and Media Focus 2009 of Assocham came to the conclusion that we may be global as far as Indian Film Industry is concerned but still we have to take many measures to be known to rest of the world. Talking from the dice on the first day, S.M.Khan, the Director of Directorate of Film festivals of India, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India said  “to attract foreign film makers into our festivals Government of India has announced a prize for 40 lacs for the best film, which is highest in the World. The seminar was attended by Film Director Madhur Bhandarkar, Ashok Pandit,President of Marwah Studios Sandeep Marwah, Actor Mukesh Tyagi,art connoisseur Nevllie Tuli,Sheemaroo Director Hiren Gada and Channel Mahua's Geetanjali Sehgal.

The show stopper was Sandeep Marwah who alone with great enthusiasm discarded the views of the other speakers who were not earlier convinced that Indian films and entertainment industry is now Global. Relating poetry to the current situation he won the applause of the audience to maximum.

"We need to improve a lot on our marketing techniques" said Madhur Bhandrakar, "We are behind as far as our subjects are concerned" said Ashok Pandit. "We still have to nourish our talent to an international standard" said Mukesh Tyagi. "Even after all these drawback our films are watched by two sixth of the World, Indian songs are accepted every where, Industry is still growing, we are still getting awards in every festival and competitions, Indian Films are watched with great interest ,Indian artist are appreciated" said Sandeep Marwah while giving  ample current examples. This three days festival showcased some of the most outstanding, critically acclaimed and awarded films across the World.

The second segment was for short films. More than 90 films have been received from 27 countries in the competition. It was the third and the final day of 2nd Global Festival of Documentary Films 2009 at Marwah Studios where ample films had already been displayed for the documentary film makers, media, film and TV students, a huge international gathering was anxiously waiting for the .formal closing when a range of stars were brought to the stage to launch Radio Noida 107.4FM“It may be the closing ceremony of Global festival of films 2009 but it’s the beginning of Non stop Radio Programs at our radio station RADIO NOIDA 107.4FM” said Sandeep Marwah, the President of Marwah Group of Creative Enterprises.

“I am happy that I am once again part of this new venture at Marwah Studios” said Sanjay Kapoor. I congratulate the whole team of Global Festival for their honest and hard work towards the promotion of our entertainment industry” he added “I have never seen this kind of International huge event at any film school, I admire the energy being generated at this campus” said Rahul Roy. “I feel this is the Golden Palace of Entertainment where every aspect of media is exchanged with the film, TV and Media students .This festival is the judicial mix of professionals and new comers of this trade” narrated Rrajat Barjatya of” I am coming back very soon, I have loved this place” said Prinyanka the charming and attractive leading girl of many movies.” I feel I have gathered more than what I could give to this festival” said Karl Bardosh the renowned film director and professor of Tisch School of Arts, New York university.

More than 600 participants present there converted the gala dinner into a musical show that evening. On 31st October 2009, the Asian Business School, Noida hosted the Convocation Ceremony for the batch 2009. The ceremony marked the ending of an epoch as the students ere prepared to enter the corporate world.

Te morning was marked with excited faces of the students who come to celebrate the occasion. The function began with the welcome speech of Mr. Sandeep Marwah, Director ABS.

He welcomed the guests Mr. M.S. Kapur Former Chairman and Managing Director, Vijaya Bank, Mukesh Tyagi, Renowned Film Artist & Industrialist, Anoop Murari, Director, AJM Financial Services Pvt. Ltd., Ajay Poddar Managing Director, JCI International Ltd. & Synergy Environics Ltd., S.S. Soin General Secretary World Wide Friendship Association.

This was followed by the ceremony of lighting the lamp and Garlanding of the Lord Ganesha by our esteemed guests.

The stage was commanded by Prof. Sandeep Marwah who reminded the students to hold the head high and be proud to be alumni of Asian Business School. His speech was extremely motivating and inspiring. Dean Mrs. Latika Sahni also welcomes the guests, giving the brief growth and achievement of ABS. She also gave few words of wisdom the passing out students Mr. M.S. Kapur & Mr. Ajay Poddar emphasized on self and explained the importance of determination, dedication and hard work. Mr. S.S. Soin proceeded by undergoing the importance of being passionate. This Was followed by awarding the diplomas by the guests. The ceremony ended in Europhia with the students tossing their convocation hats. This was followed by the farewell party by the juniors.

The Director in the Govt. of India’s Film Festivals Directorate
S M Khan said that documentary film makers deserve all possible help and support in their work. He was formally releasing the first poster of the Global Festival of Documentary Films being organized by Marwah Films & Video Studio from the 20th to 22nd November 2009. Giving details of this event Sandeep Marwah remarked that documentaries play a vital role in educating and informing the masses for making the society healthy, happy and balanced one. In his address S M Khan mentioned that a special section for the short and documentary films has been earmarked in the film festivals being organized by his directorate and many other festivals

He invited the students of Asian Academy of Film & Television, Asian School of Media Studies and Asian Business School to work as volunteers in the forth coming International Film Festival to be held in Goa. He also informed that the Films Division of Govt. of India will be holding their next Festival of Documentary Films in the month of February next year. The life membership of International Film & Television Club was given away to S M Khan on this occasion. alt

The Ambassador of Taiwan His Excellency Mr. Wenchyi Ong said that beside its unifying force a good film can easily strike a chord in the viewer. He was formally inaugurating the festival of films from Taiwan at Asian Academy of Film & Television. Family value, respect for the elderly, belief in democracy and diversity, working as a team and attaching importance to spiritual life are the dominant commonalities between the people of Taiwan and India he added. In his introductory remarks Prof. Sandeep Marwah said that watching films from Taiwan would indeed be a refreshing experience for the students. The Ambassador disclosed that he has invited the well known Taiwanese Director Ang Lee to make his next film in India and hoped that collaboration with Indian film producers will lead to making great films to tell the world remarkable stories of both India and Taiwan. A thirty day schedule of Adeep Tandon venture ‘Naazuk Saa Modd’ has begun today at Marwah Studios. A love triangle suspense thriller is to be directed by Addeep Tandon who is a well known cinematographer for number of prestigious projects like Saaransh, Thikana Censor, Grihpravesh etc. The film is being produced by Swapan Dey and Co-produced by Vikas Garg in association with Marwah Studios, Noida. Raghav Marwah is the executive producer of this feature film.

The film is written by Esmayeel Shroff a well known Director who has scripted this film for the first time for an outside director. Some of his well known film are Bulandi, Agar, Thodi Se Bewafai, Tarkieb, Majdhar, God and Gun, Ahista Ahista, Jhutha Such, Dil Akhir Dil Hai and Police Public etc. The film will be shot in Delhi and Noida from start to finish.

The music for the film has been given by Lalit Sen of (Dhoop, Monsoon, Heera Pheri fame), Lyrics by Nida Fazli of (Sarfrosh, Razia Sultan, Sur fame), Editor is Rajeev Gupta, Audiographer is S.K. Srivastava, Art Direction by the National Award Winner Shyam Bhutkar, Choregraphy by Bhushan Lakhandari of (Devdas, Sawariya, Hum Apke Hain Koun fame), Singers are Mohd. Salamat, Javed Ali, Vinod Rathod and Vaishali,  for Media Coordination Sunil Prashar is associated with this venture.

“I am going to share my 30 year long experience in the industry with my audience through this film” said Adeep Tandon. “Sandeep Marwah of Marwah Studios is going to lend valuable support to us” he added.

After the successful press conference of feature film Wanted at Marwah Studios where Salman Khan converted conference into a stage show and impressed the large audience and press with song, drama and dance, Boney Kapoor the producer of film took a very polite entry into Delhi.

Stating the facts of Film “Wanted” Boney assured and said “Salman this time you will find in different role. He has never looked so good on screen, the perfect combinations of good looks and talent.” “ Ayesha Takia Azmi, Mahesh Manjrekar, Om Puri, Sayaji Shinde, Vinod Khanna ,Prakash Raja, Aseem Merchant are others who are perfect in their roles.” Kapoor added.

The cast and crew of the most awaited feature film WANTED visited the biggest film school of the country to interact with the film, TV and Media students at Noida Film City. “I am proud to be associated with Asian Academy Of Film And Television,” said Boney Kapoor the producer of film Wanted “I have always planned at least one schedule of all my films at Marwah Studios” he added.


“I am already a member of  the council of AAFT, for me its like coming home” said Sajid khan of Sajid Wajid fame, the music directors of the film who were accompanied by the Director Prabhudeva the renowned Dance Director who did not directed any of the dances rather passed on the job to Vaibhavi Merchant.”I wanted to concentrate on direction this time for my debut in Bollywood, no doubt Dancing is my first love” Prabhu added. He is now the most wanted director.

The popular and the talented actor of feature films Sorry Bhai, My Brother Nikhil, Filhal, Dhoop, Bas Ek Pal, Sanjay Suri expressed the importance of emotions in Cinema in the Master class of Marwah Studios where the large gathering of Film, TV and Media Management students of Asian Academy Of film And Television, Asian School Of Media Studies and Asian Business School were engrossed in listing to his statements.” Emotion is the language of Cinema” said Sanjay.” Education and training do help an actor to get familiar with the techniques of Acting” he added.

“Films need lots of passion, and hard work. This is one business where you cannot take things for granted.” said Onir the renowned Writer, Editor and Director of feature films Bas Ek Pal, Sorry Bhai and My Brother Nikhil who offered the students to be the producer of his next film by buying the shares of the project.

“We at Marwah Studios feel that interaction with the industry is not only necessary but essential” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios while introducing the guest from Munbai. “We are happy that two talented and experts from the industry are going to be the members of our family”

Later Marwah presented them the membership of International Film And Television Club. Others who spoke at the event were Suman Bajaj Kalra Dean ASMS, Latika Sawhney Dean ABS and president of All India Cable Association Roop Sharma.

“I cannot forget my association with Marwah Studios where I must have been visited 100 times out of 700 episodes of Subah Savare which had taken place there. I have noticed the quality education at AAFT remarked Dr Namwar Singh the recipient of Gian Shree Award at Sri fort Auditorium from Oscar Fernandez former Union Minister and General Secretary, All India Congress Committee.

A function organized by the Savitri Vikas Samiti , an NGO to honor four distinguished personalities of India. The awards were for Best Writer, Best Education Centre, Best Publisher and Best Printer of the Year.

“All education must lead to personality development, knowledge upliftment and to maintain the culture heritage in India, I am proud that AAFT is doing the same and has become the Ambassador of Indian Culture in 70 countries of the World” .said Oscar Fernandez, while handing over the Gian Deep Award to Sandeep Marwah, Director of AAFT Asian Academy Of Film And Television in front of Media, Film and Television persons, Poets and writers,

“I am indebted to the hard working, honest and dedicated team of Asian Academy Of Film And TV who all with their sincere efforts have brought this school to the World fame.” Expressed Marwah who was emotionally charged while accepting the award.

Asian Academy Of Film And Television along with the social organization Brotherhood organized “Look Back We Care Film Festival” an event of films on Disability at Marwah Studios, Film City, Noida. The collection of films on different issues of disabilities were projected to the large crowd,  film and television students of AAFT,ASMS and ABS with an idea to evoke emotions towards people who are sometimes ignored by the community and society for no rhyme or reasons. 

 “We have joined hands with Brotherhood only to promote the idea of creating awareness towards disability” said Sandeep Marwah, President Marwah Studios. “We at brotherhood have pledged to promote our disable brothers and sisters to come forward in life and become independent” said Satish Kapoor, the Director of the Festival .The festival is supported by the information Centre of United Nation, National Trust, Shivkala Motion Pictures and International Film And Television Club. 

 “We have to look back into Hindi feature films like Black, Dosti, Tare Zameen pain, Koshish where a huge information is highlighted on disability” said Sameer Sen Chief Guest of the day and renowned music director who has given music to 150 feature films like Jalwa ,Arjun Pandit, Anari No 1, Achanak, Salakhen, Kartavaya etc. 

B.B.Choudhary IPS, Sanjeev Sachdeva, Rajeev Chandran of United Nation Information Centre, R.K.Singh former Engineer in Chief, Doordarshan, Raghaveddhiraa of Mangolore Port Trust ,Sharad Dutt of Channel P7 were the  other speakers of the day. The pogramme was followed by screening of 15 selected short films on Disability.Later Marwah honored the guests with membership of IFTC.

" I am proud to be associated with 62nd Cannes Film Festival through India Pavilion of Ministry of Information and broadcasting, Government of India handle by the oldest Chamber of India ASSOCHAM " said Sandeep Marwah, the president of Marwah Studios. " Our film Coffee House was one of the twenty films screened at India Pavilion and Four Short films The Bloody Wednesday,Prashnn Chinn, Dariba Kalan and Mati Meri Desh Ki directed by Student of AAFT were also shown. It Has given me great initiative to work for better cinema." added Marwah.

Sandeep Marwah has planned a full lenght feature film as co-production under the banner of Marwah Studios With American film Director Karl Bardosh which will go on the floor at the end of this year. The news was announced at the inaguration of India Pavilion at 62nd Cannes Festival.

The event of the opening of India Pavilion was attended by Abhishek Bachan, Sushma Singh, Secretary of Information and broadcasting, pyarelal, Jt. Sec , Min of I & B , S.M. Khan Director of Film Festival of India, Sandeep Marwah, Subhash Ghai, Manisha Koirala, Deepti Naval, Sujata dev, Bobby Bedi, Prakash Hinduja, Christian Jeune the deputy General Delegate of Cannes festival, D.S.Rawat of ASSOCHAM and large number of film personalities around the world.
