Rogers responds to Japan’s tragedy, with a donation drive and free preview.

The recent earthquake and tsunami in Japan have left many in Canada distraught as they try to get information on friends and family back home. Others are eager to help in whatever way they can to support the people of Japan in this time of need. Rogers is lending support to the cause by initiating a Text-to-Donate campaign, and is also keeping customers up-to-date with happenings in the disaster-hit region of northern Japan.

Customers can help Red Cross efforts in Japan through the Rogers Text-to-Donate campaign. Rogers and Fido wireless customers can text ASIA to 30333 to donate $5 to the earthquake relief efforts. 100% of all donations will go to the Canadian Red Cross Japan Earthquake/Asia-Pacific Tsunami fund.
