Introducing another Gem of Dharma Production this year

Karan Johar is known for launching new and young talent through his production house. A flashback
will tell you that he has launched a total of 9 debutant directors under his banner. Starting from Nikhil
Advani in ‘Kal Ho Na Ho’ to Shakun Batra in ‘Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu.’
When approached for his comments, Karan said, “At Dharma, we have already introduced nine
directors. We are extremely proud of their films. Taking the train of thought further, we plan to expand
our production base and launch many more first time filmmakers in the immediate future.”
And thus they continue… this year Dharma Production is launching another young talent under its
banner. For the first time, Dharma will give break to a lady director! Sonam Nair will make her directorial
debut with a Dharma Productions movie. The title of the film is not final yet, however, Karan Johar has
officially announced the news and we think that this year is just going to get more exciting for Dharma
Productions.
