Toss up between Ash and Kat

Though Madhur Bhandarkar tasted moderate success with his comedy drama Dil Toh Bachaa Hai Ji reports coming in suggest that he and UTV are all set to revive Heroine, the director’s ambitious project inspired from the life and times of controversial Hollywood actress Marilyn Monroe.
Sources figure out that after UTV was keen on roping Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for Heroine some time ago and now it looks like they are also considering the option of Katrina Kaif for it. Producers are now in a toss up between Ash and Kat said a source.
When asked why Kat was chosen when they already planned Ash for the role to the same source, the clarification is that Kat being from a foreign country may add some reality quotient to Heroine.
Madhur was eager to start Heroine with Kareena Kapoor but things didn’t fell together with the actress as she opted out of it after much deliberation. Some say that she demanded too many changes in the script and others felt that she wasn’t ready to do some intimate scenes, hence the fallout with the director resulting in she opting out.
On the other hand even though Madhur is interested to revive Heroine, a close friend of Madhur says that he wants to try out an intense love story before going on board with Heroine.
It seems that Madhur should first fight internally whether to direct a love story or not before fighting for the heroine of his choice. Wonder who would be the lucky heroine for Heroine.
