New Sets of IIFA 2011 Tickets to be released

2011_jan25-iifa-new-batchTORONTO (January 25, 2011) –On Thursday, January 27 at noon ET, a new block of tickets will go on sale to the general public for the highly anticipated International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) which will take place at Rogers Centre on June 25, 2011. The first 7000 tickets celebrating the best and brightest in Indian cinema sold out in less than five minutes when released last week.

Tickets to the IIFA Rocks and IIFA Awards are available online at or by phone at 1-855-985-5000. Ticket prices for the IIFA Rocks start at $ 100.

IIFA Rocks will take place on June 24 at Ricoh Coliseum. The dazzling Green carpet event will feature popular stars of music and fashion, bringing together Southeast Asian and Canadian culture.

The second block of IIFA Awards tickets is available for public purchase starting at $49. Tickets are available at or by phone at 1-855-985-5000 strictly on a first come-first served basis.

Presented by CIBC and hosted by the Ontario Government, the IIFA Weekend is a glamorous celebration of Indian cinema and a global platform that gives fans an opportunity to meet with the Indian film industry in international territories. The weekend celebration comprises six major events including the FICCI-IIFA Global Business Forum, IIFA Rocks, IIFA Film Festival, IIFA Film Workshop, IIFA World Premiere, IIFA Awards and a myriad of interactive community events in and around the Greater Toronto area.

The first IIFA Awards were held at the Millenium Dome in London, UK in 2000. Since then, millions of Indian cinema fans, filmmakers, celebrities and business leaders have enjoyed IIFA Celebrations in Sun City, Malaysia, Dubai, Amsterdam, Singapore, Yorkshire, Bangkok, Macau, Johannesburg, and Colombo. The 2011 IIFA Celebrations in Toronto, Canada are expected to draw approximately 40,000 visitors to Ontario, with an international television audience of more than 600 million.


Conceptualized and produced by Wizcraft International Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. and supported by the key members of the Indian film fraternity, IIFA is the most appreciated South Asian film academy. The IIFA Awards is India’s biggest media event. With a viewership of almost 600 million, it is among the world’s most-watched annual entertainment spectacles.     Once again I’m restacked with the biggest collection of IIFA tickets. I will be updating my site soon ( but for now pls call me. I have sets of 6/4/3/2 (sitting together) and over a 100 tickets!!
