Mumbai, December 27, 2010 – The Foundation and Rahul Bose today announced the specially designed 8 week training program to help participants get fit for Marathon. The effort with the training programme is to enable people to prepare for and benefit from the programme that is a special combination of running, cross fitness, yoga and nutritional training to get into peak condition to run for the Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon on January 16, 2011.
Rahul Bose also announced The Foudation association with their 3 corporate partners who would solidify their presence at the Mumbai Marathon as 3 teams along with The Foundation: Deccan Healthcare, Bling! Entertainment Solutions and Raheja Universal. The guest of honor at India’s first ever press meet held at a training ground was Riteish Deshmukh. Atul Kasbekar, Owner of Bling! Global was also present in support of their initiative.
After formally announcing the initiative to the attendees, Rahul Bose, Atul Kasbekar and guest of honor Riteish Deshmukh were taken through a brief mock up of the training programme that is undertaken by the participants of the programme. Rahul, Riteish and Atul participated in the entire process with a lot of enthusiasm and vigour.
It was a one of its kind press meet where the idea was to induct not just the participants but also the guests and media into the core philosophy, idea and the basic outline of what the programme promises. The guests and attendees were also gifted nutrition based hampers comprising of health food and drinks along with fruits and nutrition bars.
