After hosting two victorious seasons of Koffee with Karan, filmmaker Karan Johar is making a reply on the small screen with a reality show Lift Karade.This Yash Raj films TV venture will feature 20 of India’s biggest superstars over a period of 20 weeks where they’ll hunt for their biggest fan.“People offer their entire lives to megastars but we have never seen their craze, devotion and love for them.Through this show we will get to see that craze,” says Johar.

The show also marks Yash Raj Films’ indirect foray into television through five back to back TV shows on weekends on Sony Entertainment Television.These shows include – Seven, Rishta.Com and Power among others, under a sub brand YRF TV which promises to be contemporary and catering to youngsters.

“We have a decade long association with YRF, we obtain all the YRF movies and when YRF decided to enter into TV production we became their obvious partner of choice,” says COO Sony Entertainment Television, N P Singh.
