Karan Johar celebrated his 37th birthday in style last evening with the entire industry, well almost the entire industry turning up to greet him. Of course, there were a few people who were missing like Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif.

Even if Salman was missing, his brothers were there with their wives. Of course, one is not sure if Salman was not invited or chose not to come as he would not be able to avoid Shah Rukh Khan at the party. Anyway, girlfriend Katrina stayed away from the party as well, but that was because she landed late in the night from South Africa. Also missing from the guest list were Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan, but only because it was a young people’s party. But Abhishek and Aishwarya made up for their absence. It goes without saying that SRK and his wife were among the first to arrive. The guests included Hrithik Roshan, Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Shahid Kapur, Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Imraan Khan, Farhan Akhtar, Vidya Balan and Vivek Oberoi. According to reports, SRK and Abhishek were seen bonding at the party and spent most of the time with each other.
