13B may not have fared exceptionally well at the box office but it has been like a fresh lease of life for Neetu Chandra. The actress starred in both the Tamil and Hindi versions of the film, in which she was cast opposite R Madhavan. She is now gearing up for item numbers.

Yes, you heard right. The actress, who recently tried to shed her simple, girl next door image by baring all for a magazine, is actually quite keen to take the next step and do item numbers. She feels that they have just been at the receiving end of a lot of negative hype and that is why item numbers are not perceived well. Well, if nothing else, at least the item numbers may just help Neetu break her simple screen image. It would give her a chance to appear glamorous. So far, all the films that she is done, which includes the recent 13B and Oye Lucky Oye!, Neetu has managed to stay true to her sweet and simple image. But maybe it is time for some change. At least her appearance on the cover of the glossy seemed to say so. The actress will next be seen in films like Mumbai Cutting, Khushar Prasad Ka Bhoot and Vipul Shah’s next.
