Amitabh Bachchan has agreed to star in his autobiography of sorts! He will play the central character, Ashmit Bhargava, in the film The Actor.

Interestingly, the initials of Amitabh Bachchan and Ashmit Bhargava remain the same. The Actor will be directed by Kushan Nandy and produced by the Big B’s friend Pritish Nandy’s Pritish Nandy Communications (PNC).

Though the rest of the cast and crew are yet to be finalized, The Actor is expected to go on the floors with the next few months. The film will have several interesting information about Amitabh Bachchan.

Amitabh confirmed the news that he will be featuring in The Actor, but failed to disclose any further information.
