Shah Rukh Khan has decided to undergo the much-needed shoulder surgery on February 16th at the Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai.

The actor, it may be recalled, had hurt the ligament of his left shoulder during a shooting in December. Though he was in constant pain, the King Khan decided to put off the surgery as he wanted to promote his home productions’ Billu Barber.

Shah Rukh plays a cameo in the film, which has Irrfan Khan and Lara Dutta in the lead. Billu Barber hits the marquee on February 13th.

SRK is expected to recommence shooting for Karan Johar’s My Name is Khan after recuperating.
