Ash Upbeat about Bhansali’s Next

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan seems very happy and gung about working in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next film. The director seems to have laid to rest all his angst regarding Saawariya, which was a colossal flop and was panned by both the critics and public alike. And if reports are true, then his next venture will also be on a grand scale like Devdas was.
But Bhansali will not be repeating the Devdas pair of Ash and Shah Rukh Khan. The director is quite peeved at the actor for making fun of his film Saawariya at a film award function and calling a ‘blue’ film. This has so enraged the director, that he is believed to have sworn never to work with SRK again. The actor had starred in his Devdas. Meanwhile, Ash is quite grateful to the director, who has given her two of the most memorable films of her career, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and Devdas. She is more than willing to put aside the fiasco that Saawariya was and would prefer not to judge him on the basis of one failure. The film is expected to go on the floors by the middle of next year.
